What a wiki gets

Page treesPages nest under pages, so a wiki reads like a book.
Revision historyEvery published revision is kept; compare or restore any of them.
CitationsClaims carry their sources, listed with every page.
DiscussionEach page has a thread on OpenVibe.Community.
Roles and visibilityPublic, members-only, VIP or private wikis, with editors you choose.
Search and feedsFull-text search across the wikis you can see, and Atom and JSON feeds.

How a page comes together

  1. Start a wikiName it, choose who can read it and add the editors you trust.
  2. Write pagesMarkdown with [[links]] between pages, an infobox of facts, and pages nested under pages.
  3. Cite your sourcesAttach the source behind a claim: its link, the quote and when it was read. The citation stays with that revision.
  4. Publish and keep goingPublish now or schedule it. Every revision stays in the history, ready to compare or restore.

Questions

Who can start a wiki?

Anyone signed in with an OpenVibe account. A wiki can be public, for members (any signed-in account), for its owner's OpenVibe.VIP members, or private to the people given a role in it. Its owner picks the editors.

Who writes the OpenVibe wiki?

OpenVibe staff. Each page summarises one product or library from its README and STATUS files at a pinned commit, and cites those files. Pages written with AI assistance say so at the top and stay out of search engines until a person reviews them.

Can I see what changed on a page?

Yes. Every page keeps each published revision. Its history compares any two revisions word by word or line by line, and its sources view lists what each revision cited.

Where do I talk about a page?

Each page has a discussion thread on OpenVibe.Community, shown under the page. Sign in with your OpenVibe account to post.

How do I follow changes?

The whole site and each public wiki have Atom and JSON feeds, and signed-in readers can watch a page. Every public page is also served as JSON: add .json to its address.
