OpenVibe.Help is the help and support centre for every OpenVibe site, the service behind openvibe.help on port 5020 (service id help). Its README says "the product is written, tested and deployed".
What it does
At boot it reads the pinned OpenVibe.Contracts product and service manifests, builds a catalog of every site, and generates one article per manifest FAQ entry, quoting every text verbatim. /search ranks those articles with a fixed, explainable score and adds a second section from OpenVibe.Search's public API, cached for five minutes and degrading to the articles alone on failure. A signed-in person opens a support ticket with a site, subject, message and an optional page URL stored as text and never fetched, and the ticket stays one conversation; staff are decided by the Network role claim.
What it does not do yet
Help is live at openvibe.help since 2026-10-08. Its service manifest is in the network's contracts with no capabilities, so no other service calls it yet. Not built yet:
- an email side to a ticket;
- a "Report a problem" button embedded on other OpenVibe sites;
- answers drawn from the docs, wiki, blog or service status.
How it fits the network
It uses OpenVibe.Network for sign-in, JWKS and the role claim, OpenVibe.Search for the network half of /search, OpenVibe.Events for the two account export and deletion topics, and OpenVibe.Host for deploy, PostgreSQL and Valkey.
Status
STATUS.json's stage is "product". It records the service deployed and public since 2026-10-08. License: AGPL-3.0.
