OpenVibe.Trade is an informational product at openvibe.trade on port 4860: instruments with deterministic resolution, sourced market observations, filings from OpenVibe.Sources, private watchlists, alert rules and editor-written context. Its stated scope is "Informational watchlists, sourced market context and alerts. No custody, no order execution."
What it does
Trade owns nine charter tables in its own PostgreSQL database, including immutable market observations and alert deliveries. Resolution is exact and deterministic (CIK, ticker, normalised name), with no fuzzy or prefix matching. Observations carry required observed_at and retrieved_at timestamps and show their source; where no observation exists the page says no number is shown. Per-source freshness renders a "stale since <time>" badge, and alerts fire on a crossing or a newly seen document, once per trigger. Editors publish cited context; OpenVibe.AI output is a labelled draft that cannot be published before a person on the editor list approves it, and advice is refused.
Since 2026-10-15 it carries about 8,000 US-listed companies from the SEC's own ticker list, one instrument per CIK with other share classes as aliases; their XBRL filings, read from the SEC's feed every 15 minutes; the key numbers in those filings (revenue, net income, operating income, diluted EPS and operating cash flow for the last five quarters and two years, and assets, liabilities, equity, cash, long-term debt and shares outstanding at the last five quarter ends); and euro reference rates. Short AI briefs are written from a company's numbers and filings only: every kept point cites Trade's own rows, text that reads as advice is refused, and each brief is labelled "AI-written, not reviewed by a person".
What it does not do yet
The scope is informational only: there is no custody, no order execution, no escrow and no listing between users. Every page says it is information only, not investment advice. No price feed is configured, and discussion through OpenVibe.Community is not wired yet.
How it fits the network
Trade depends on OpenVibe.Sources for items, OpenVibe.Network for SSO and subjects, OpenVibe.Events for events, OpenVibe.Search for index documents and OpenVibe.AI for drafts and briefs. Network renders and delivers alert notifications from trade.alert.triggered.
Status
Node 22, Express 4, PostgreSQL 18 and Valkey 9. It is public at its domain since 2026-10-09, after a pre-launch security review. Its stage is alpha (roadmap Wave 19). License: AGPL-3.0.
