OpenVibe.Rent is the network service to find a place, or rent yours out: one place to find and offer things to rent, including apartments, rooms, houses, commercial space, parking and storage, and equipment. It is at the product stage and its v1 works end to end.
What it does
In this first version every listing is posted by a person on the site: a signed-in person may hold at most 10 active listings and post 5 new ones a day, each lasting 30 days until expiry. Listings carry a price with an ISO 4217 currency, a period, city, country and optional details, and a contact link. Search has filters and facets with cursor paging. Three distinct reports hide a listing until staff look; owners can edit, renew, hide, show and delete their own listing. Pages are server-rendered and complete without JavaScript, and account export and deletion follow ADR-033.
What it does not do yet
There are "no scraped listings and no partner feeds": other sources arrive only when their terms are verified. There are no payments, deposits or messaging, and no inbox. Alerts from a saved search come later through OpenVibe.Watch. Its service and capability manifests are not yet registered with OpenVibe.Services.
How it fits the network
Accounts, sign-in and roles come from OpenVibe.Network; the shared site frame is Network's; event delivery and subscriptions are OpenVibe.Events'; files and media are OpenVibe.Media's. A caller's URL goes to OpenVibe.Tools, whose own guard decides what may be fetched.
Status
It runs on Node 22 with PostgreSQL and Valkey, on port 5010, and is licensed AGPL-3.0.
