Its gateway runs on port 4001.\n\n## What it does\n\nIt owns the tool registry (families, tools, descriptors and canonical, short and alias hosts), the catalog and every tool page, the run API and the jobs runtime for img, audio and docs jobs with files and SSE progress, and the guard (callers, quotas, sniffing, egress throttles and a PostgreSQL abuse log). Eight apps make up the suite: gateway on 4001, maps on 4010, food on 4011 (the food finder's API; its page moved to [[OpenVibe.Food]]), img on 4012, yt on 4013, audio on 4014, text on 4015 and docs on 4016. It also owns the `tools.*` events, Tools' Search documents and the `tools.usage` user module.\n\n## What it does not do yet\n\nQuotas for external developer apps are the guard's service and sandbox tiers, not a Codes-issued quota. Some operations need a program on the host (ffmpeg, yt-dlp, qpdf, poppler, libheif, mtr) and answer an error until it is installed.
